Stroud's future looks bright......

Whilst there is a regeneration project for the canal system (see Getting here section) in the town itself, the landmark Hill Paul building (once a clothing factory) has been transformed into luxury apartments.  Building work has also started on £7.5 million project for a new cinema and leisure complex.

With both Sainsbury's Homebase at Far Hill and a new McDonalds recently opened, new investment shows confidence in the town's growth.  Already organisations like the Stroud and Swindon Buidling Society have based their headquarters here.

With a Town management centre, street cleaning, a "Concordat" agreement between all three council tiers and a rejuvenation plan for Russell Stree, you can see major environmental improvements and opportunities for investment.
